On Instagram I see architecture photos thanks to #arch_more. There are many pages that go up on new works that are made all over the world, or new ideas, sketches or the form of development. It is very interesting and it helps me a lot as references, to know how architecture is developing nowadays and how it is progressing. Many times I have been told that the architect has to go ahead with time and try to anticipate him. To make architecture that lasts over time, and to be ahead of the ideas that may be in the future, as many architects did, like Frank Lloyd Wright in the house of the waterfall, which may be old, but if one see the design of the façade of the work, one could think of what was done a few years ago and not more than 10, 20 or 30 years ago. For this I like very much to see this or this type of page, they are very interesting to me, because they show how the architecture evolves and changes in the world.               ...

Writing in a blog is not as simple as I thought in a moment, and it is rare that I have thought about it since I am not good with words, and my writing is very bad, but it has been very interesting. Having so many topics to talk about, analyze what one is going to say, try to express a thought or an opinion, it is very entertaining to be part of something like a blog and share an idea with someone else, like others share their views in the section. Lately several of us have been worrying more than usual in what the world would be like in a few years. After a talk they made in the auditorium at the university about the changes that have taken place on the planet in the last 20 years, how they have already affected what we will achieve if we do not change things to improve the situation, the concerns and thoughts of what will happen in the future are more present than before. It is said that we would not reach beyond 2050, that the conditions for those years would not be optimal for the development of human life, perhaps not reaching development. These problems have been caused by us, and that is why we are the ones who must fix it. Many ways have been devised to improve the environment, so we should follow those ideas and try to fix the conditions in which we find ourselves and avoid those that are projected up to now.                           ...

In this semester I had two subjects that helped me to know how to develop my projects and I liked them a lot for the topics that we talked about in class. The first corresponds to "Urban Sustainability". In this subject we talk about the characteristics that make a sustainable city, the plot or structure they have and the elements that compose it, such as its buildings, its public spaces, the means of transport and the spaces dedicated to them. The second subject is "Morphology, structure and materialization", in which we analyze what is structure and construction. We study pillar and beam system, braced system and confined masonry and its behavior by supporting static loads such as the weight of the roof, and the dynamic forces that are wind and earthquakes. We also learned to design them depending on the requirements.
